BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

MAURIZIO GALIA was born in Moncalieri (Turin) Italy, on the 28th May 1963 and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, from 1978 until 1986, under the direction of Francesco Tabusso, Enzo Sciavolino and Sergio Saroni. From 1982 he worked for various agencies and specialized as visual designer and illustrator for comics and books. During these years he also worked part-time as musician in a group, plaiyng concerts and finally in 1997, producing his first Compact Disc. For this reason he is oriented towards multimedia creations.

MAURIZIO GALIA è nato a Moncalieri il 28 Maggio 1963 e si è diplomato in Pittura all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Torino sotto la guida di Francesco Tabusso, Enzo Sciavolino e Sergio Saroni. Dal 1982 egli lavora per varie agenzie e si è specializzato come Visual Design pubblicitario ed Illustratore per Fumetti e libri. Durante questi anni ha coltivato anche la passione per la musica suonando in un gruppo pop e pubblicando finalmente un Compact disc nel 1997. Per questo motivo egli è orientato a tutti gli effetti, a lavorare come creativo multimediale.
